Pete`s Opengl Driver 1.76 Configuration
This thread's goal is to be the same as HushyPushy's best OGL2 config thread, but for OGL 1.76. I will update it later to be a D3D 1.76 thread too.
Pete's OpenGL2 PSX GPU * This is an hw/accel psx und ZiNc gpu plugin for modern systems! You will need a good gfx card supporting the latest OpenGL. Best settings for Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76. I would like to know what the best settings would be for my setup. I tried the OGL2 Plugin, but it ran extremely slow. But if it won't work with my system, some good settings for the OGL 1.76 gpu would be awesome, because it's a great gpu too.
Hello everyone. The best config i've found for Final Fantasy 9 is with Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76. I don't use very often OGL2, because it doesn't support the FSAA and others settings you can adjust in the properties of your graphic card.
The Complete Tutankhamun By Nicholas Reeves Pdf Writer. I have far better results with the settings on 'Optimal quality' in my graphic card properties:thumb:, and with Direct3d 1.76 or OpenGL 1.76, than trying to adjust with OGL2 plugin. Here are the best settings i've found: Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.76 Author: Pete Bernert Card vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. I'd actually recommend turning off AF, it forces bilinear filtering (no Z buffer so no anisotropic for PSX games) which can lead to some ugly effects---notice how your text boxes have a 'hole' in the edges? You can turn off AF, crank up the AA (you can do 6x on that 9800, right?) and i'd say fiddle with texture filtering so text boxes dont look weird--i thought 4 was optimal.
The nice thing is, you can change it in game, so you can see what it looks like on the fly, and make direct comparison shots.
